Italian born Massimo Volta begun his career very early as a photographer, specialised in portraiture (mostly actors and dancers) working for La Scala theatre in Milan. He then started working as a commercial director and eventually created his own production company, Zero, focused in high speed cinematography with Phantom cameras. He directed many films for brands like Valentino, Tod’s, Danone, Artic, MacDonald’s, Pepsi, Sky, Buitoni, Nestlè and so on.
During the past years he wrote and published 2 novels and shot many short films under the label Neon Crow, a company he created in order to produce his narrative works. His latest project, Nona, from a short story by Stephen King, gained a lot of attention in Italy. He is now writing his first feature film, a moody supernatural thriller, which will be shot fall 2016.
